Hi Olajide ... Yep I do read your other sites ... Melissa has a point! How do you know that you can run UniServer on a particular machine? I plug my USB stick into a machine and it fails, why!

I created a crude test script that addresses a similar problem:
http://center.uniformserver.com/us_35/us35_problems_3.html#tester
It addresses a common theme I see on the forum, however it does not address the real problem.

“But also, laziness is a thing killing developers nowadays” Hmm” hay that’s me, to a T all the best.

There is a bug with port conflicts. There has to be an easier way of dealing with it. One option is to allow the user to use the existing apache and mysql, but set things up behind the scene to access the htdocs directory. The second option is to allow the user to select a port or apache and mysql with server_start.bat, but maybe check which ports are available.

3.5 - phpMyAdmin updated to 2.10.2;
    - Admin Panel 2.0 Updated;
    - Service Scripts Updated/Bug Fixes;
    - MySQL Priv Bug Fix
    - core server arcitecture/structure updated;
    ...

Thank you for pointing out where to look. I was having trouble with the install script of Typolight on 3.5 but it would ran fine on 3.3. The nice table in the "What's in the Uniform Server 3.5-Apollo package" section on UniCenter was pretty helpful at narrowing it down to eAccelerator. Disable eAccelerator when running install.php solve the problem.

There is a change log included with every release. Check the /doc/ folder. Or even the SF.NET Download Note.

Apache 2 is a work in development.
